forgot her dances… again!

forgotten ceilí dances
Tereza Violet Látal got into dancing by accident. She always loved dancing and wanted to pursue it, but the opportunity never arose. Then she received an invitation to a céilí and balfolk event, and the rest, as they say, is history.
She attends dance workshops and festivals in the Czech Republic and abroad, drawing inspiration from each experience. Her unique talent is finding (more or less) obscure dances from the depths of the internet, which she then learns and shares with others. She believes that dance is for everyone. If dancing found its way to her, why not anyone else?
She’s currently engaged as a teacher of Irish ceilí and occasionally substitutes as a teacher of balfolk. At FolCon, she will introduce you to the beauty of social Irish dancing (céilí) so you can use this knowledge at the festival’s evening dance events. She will also guide you through the forgotten Irish ceili dances that are quite different from the ones you’ll get to know the evening before. She can’t wait to see you on the dance floor.
